Bakuriani is one of Georgia’s top ski resorts, sitting at 1,700 m elevation in the Trialeti Mountains (Borjomi district). It has a cozy alpine-town vibe, perfect for both families and active skiers.
Ski AreasBakuriani has several skiing zones, each offering different experiences, the main two are:
- Kokhta / Kokhta-Mitarbi - long forest runs for kids & beginners at the bottom, with steeper and more challenging slopes at the higher altitude. These resorts were redeveloped in 2015 and have newer lifts. Neither Kokhta nor Mitarbi have any green runs, but there are 6 blue runs between them.
See Kokhta Hotels →- Didveli - max. altitude 2702m, has five modern lifts including panoramic funicular, servicing 36 kilometres of runs. The famous green run called "Half-pipe" is located here - it's a long piste perfect for beginners & kids. For advanced skiers, there are red & black runs at the higher altitude.
