Mountain Escape

4 nights · Tbilisi – Gudauri – Kazbegi – Tbilisi

A short journey through the Georgian mountains. From the scenic drive along the Georgian Military Highway to the landscapes of Kazbegi. Hiking, quiet stays, and time to slow down, with a final night in Tbilisi.

Day by day

  1. Day 1Arrival and the road northPick-up and a slow drive up the Georgian Military Highway. Stops along the way, then a quiet evening in Gudauri.
  2. Day 2Truso ValleyA wide valley of mineral springs, stone villages and open meadows. An easy walk at your pace. Overnight in Kazbegi.
  3. Day 3Gergeti and the waterfallsGergeti Trinity Church above Kazbegi, then the waterfalls nearby. A day for views, not distance.
  4. Day 4Juta Valley and back to TbilisiThe last hike, in the foothills below the Chaukhi massif. Then the drive back and a final night in Tbilisi.
  5. Day 5DepartureTransfer to the airport or onward.

Note on pace: a shorter Juta walk is available for families and slower days.
